Kolkata Comic Con ends on a high with a bong touch

The first edition of the Comic Con India in Kolkata became a grand festival of pop culture, bringing thousands of comic enthusiasts together in two exciting days. The artistic cultural center of this city creates a recreational contradiction given the delayed arrival of its national pop culture exhibition.

Superfan was treated in an exclusive collection, in which Dr. of Marvel. The Doom Bust, a Deadpool and Wolverin T-shirts and a special superfan box characterized by Kechane were included.

The creator of Archie Comics, internationally acclaimed artist Bill Goliher, made his first visit to Kolkata and was overwhelmed by the love of the city’s comic lovers. “It is a loving city where people look so excited, they are bent for comics and know my works. I went to India, but this is the first visit to the city where I came on Thursday. I will come here again in the future, ”he shared by signing comic strips and posing for selfies.

Cosplayers added a Bengali twist to their favorite superhero characters

A Topor-Clade Spider Man, a Bengali version of Deadpool, and a dhoti-mahin man, stole the show with his innovative fusion of Marvel and Bengali culture.

Speaking about the comic culture in Bengal, Savio Mascarenhas, the creator of the popular Amar Chitra Katha character Sambhu, said, “Kolkata and Bengal always testified a lively, receptive, enthusiastic reader and first testify of comics.”
