Noida: Keeping in mind the festival of Holi, Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has made a big change in the metro service on 14 March due to Holi. According to the new instructions, metro services will be completely closed from morning to 2 pm on Holi day. After this, the metro service will start again from 2 pm and trains will run every 15 minutes.

An order has been issued by Lokesh M., Managing Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation, which said that this change has been made in view of security arrangements and low passenger number on Holi. Usually on the day of Holi, people celebrate the festival with their family and friends, which during that time the number of passengers in the metro is very less. For this reason, it has been decided to keep the morning metro service closed.
