Road Safety Campaign Season 3: Travel of hope and responsibility

The third edition of the road safety campaign 2025 began on 6 January. Nitin Gadkari, Shankar Mahadevan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prasoon Joshi, Pankaj Tripathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vikrant Massey participated.

The third edition of the road safety campaign began on 6 January 2025, in which many well-known personalities came together to carry forward the issue of road safety. This year, the focus of the campaign focuses on joining children, who not only suffer the most in road accidents, but also future drivers.

This year’s version began with a concert, in which 1,500 school students participated with full enthusiasm, sang songs and inquired about the importance of road safety. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways- Mr. Nitin Gadkari also held a question-post session with the students. He answered his questions with both knowledge and practical advice.

The song sung by Shankar Mahadevan inspired the young contestants to take an oath of commitment to become a road safety champion.

Young participants were also introduced to YouTuber Ayush Kalra and Prakriti Kalra, who are known as Aye and Pihu, who emphasized the importance of road safety.

A nationwide mission
Road safety campaign also works to raise awareness about the importance of road safety at the ground level. For this purpose, regional programs are being organized to sensitize the society and increase awareness about not driving at a young age, Good Semeritan Act and other issues across the country. A ‘Road Safety Bus’ is on a nationwide mission to make learning about road safety interesting and accessible.

On January 25, 2025, on Saturday, live from 11 am, this four -hour broadcast will be a mixture of stories, discussions and entertainment. The program will include a motivational panel under the leadership of Gadkari ji and great actor Amitabh Bachchan on the issue of road safety which will include famous lyricist Prasoon Joshi as well as actors Pankaj Tripathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vikrant Massey. Young entrepreneur Navya Naveli Nanda will be the voice of the next generation, who will express her views on working with everyone.
