Nagpur violence: The rioters, who climbed Nagpur on Monday evening, tried to humiliate a female police officer and touched her improperly, an FIR has been revealed by the Maharashtra Police. Police said that the mob also bounced a petrol bomb in the police during the violence.
Fifty persons have been detained, and after violent clashes on March 17, one curfew remains effective for the second consecutive day in ten police district areas in Nagpur.
Faheem Khan has been arrested by the Maharashtra Police on Wednesday evening by the Maharashtra Police, who shook Nagpur on Monday evening.
The Maharashtra Police had registered three cases in connection with the Nagpur violence, triggered by right -wing groups, demanding that Aurangzeb’s tomb was destroyed. The FIR was also registered against Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal Office Bearrs.
On Tuesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who also holds home portfolio, told the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, three cases were registered at Ganesh Peth station, and the police were registering two cases at Tehsil Police Station.

A female police officer tampered with
The FIR said that one of the accused improperly touched the uniform and body of a female police officer during the violence. The accused also tried to take out his clothes, made obscene gestures, and abused other women police personnel.
Stimulating slogans and gestures
In Nagpur violence, the FIR also noted that the group of rioters were seen shouting stimulating slogans aimed at inciting communal tension in the region. He also made ugly remarks and passed pornographic gestures towards women police officers.
The crowd conspired to make chaos
According to the FIR, the group visiting the police station allegedly gathered more people, and conspired to create religious conflicts between the two communities.
500-600 crowd gathered
The FIR also states that about 500 to 600 people of a community gathered at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Pratima Chowk.
Crowds armed with axes, stones, sticks
The FIR stated that despite efforts by Inspector Machindra Pandit and other officials to disperse the mob, the situation deteriorated as the Nagpur stopped in the crowd and armed with deadly weapons, including axes, stones and sticks.
The purpose of his actions was to create fear and disrupt social harmony, allegedly to increase religious tension, the FIR said.
