The CBSE board announced on Thursday that the students of class 12 are unable to appear in the Hindi board examination due to Holi on March 15, they will get another opportunity.
Although Holi will be celebrated in some areas on Friday, March 14, the celebrations can spread till the next day. As a result, CBSE has decided to give students an opportunity to appear for the Hindi examination at a later date, ensuring that no student is deprived of the celebration.
“Accordingly, in view of the obstacles that can face some students, it has been decided that, while the exam will be conducted on 15.03.2025, students who find it difficult to appear in the same can not be visible that day, that is,, ie, 15.03.2025,” is said in the latest notice of CBSE.
CBSE Hindi Exam dates
The Hindi Corps (302)/Hindi Elective (002) exams for CBSE Board are scheduled to be held on Saturday, 15 March. However, due to Holi celebrations that may continue till Saturday, the CBSE board has announced that it will provide another opportunity to students.
The CBSE notice said, “… such students will be given an opportunity to join along with the students for which a special examination is conducted according to the board policy, which conducts a special examination for students participating in national or international level sports programs.”

The CBSE board exam for class 12 will continue till April 2 and the Class 10 exam will be held till March 18.
First, CBSE It was proposed to conduct two board examinations for class 10 students for the educational year starting from 2026. The proposed system retains the current examination structure, giving students the second chance to increase their score. Students can choose to take a second exam in any discipline that they want.
