- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1 cup wheat flour
- ½ cup honey or jaggery powder (better option than sugar)
- 4 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoon oil or butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla essence (to give good flavor)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder (for taste and fragrance)
- Chopped dry fruits (almonds, walnuts, cashews) – optional
How to make life in step
First take two ripe bananas and mash them well. If bananas are more ripe, they will be more sweet and soft, which will further increase the taste of the cake.
Now add banana paste, milk, oil (or butter), honey (or jaggery) and vanilla essence and mix well in a bowl. Now add a pinch of salt and cinnamon powder to it, so that a special twist comes to the taste.
Now add wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda to another bowl and filter it so that there is no lump. Now put this dry material slowly into the banana mixture and mix with a spoon or spatula.
If the batter looks too thick, you can add some milk. Now add dry fruits to it and mix with light hand. Keep in mind that the batter is not very thin or thick.
Place a large non-stick fry pan on the gas and heat it on light flame. Now apply the pan with a little oil and grease so that the cake does not stick. Put the prepared batter slowly into the pan and close the lid. Cook it on low flame for 25-30 minutes.
Now after 25 minutes, check the cake by adding a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out, the cake is ready. If the batter sticks, let it cook 5 minutes more.
After cooking the cake, take it out of the pan and let it cool for 10 minutes. Now cut it into slices and serve.
