School education authorities in Kashmir on Thursday ordered change in school timings in the capital Srinagar from May 6, 2024, due to improvement in temperature and increase in day length.
The Directorate of School Education Kashmir said in an order that schools will open half an hour before the customary time.
The order said, “Consequent to the approval given by the competent authority, all government and private recognized schools within the municipal limits of Srinagar city will open from 08:30 am to 02:30 pm with immediate effect from 06.05.2024.” We will see the time.” ,
Earlier, class work in government and private schools in Srinagar was from 9 am to 3 pm.
The weather has improved significantly across the valley and the day temperature in Srinagar has reached above 23 degrees Celsius.
