India Post GDS 2025: Selection Process and Qualification List Description

Unlike other competitive recruitment procedures, India Post GDS recruitment does not include any written examination. Instead, the selection is based on a merit list generated from the candidates’ Class 10 digits,

Candidates will be selected purely based on their academic performance in class 10, with no additional tests or interviews. Once selected, he will be appointed to GDS posts, including Branch Post Master (BPM), Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Duck Sevaak.

Before releasing the merit list, applicants can check the status of their application by following these steps:

  2. Click on the India Post GDS application status link.
  3. Enter your registration number in the required field.
  4. The application status will appear on the screen in the PDF format.
  5. Download and save PDF for future reference.

Candidates selected for GDS posts will get monthly Salary Rupee. 10,000 and Rs. 29,380, based on specific role and location.
