New Delhi. Can the same app show different prices on two different phones? If you don’t understand the question, let me explain it in a simpler way. If I tell you that Zepto is selling things at a different price to its iPhone users at the same price at which it is giving things to its Android users, then you probably won’t believe it. But you will definitely be surprised. The cost of your groceries really depends on what kind of phone you’re using? Yes, you read it right. This matter came to light when a woman from Bengaluru told about it.
Recently, a woman from Bengaluru shared evidence that shows how quick commerce platforms like Zepto are pricing products differently for Android and iPhone users.
what is the whole matter
The name of this woman from Bengaluru is Pooja Chhabra, who is a Zepto user. They compared the price of the same item on both Android and iPhone and found that the price of the same item is much higher on iPhone as compared to Android. For example, the price of 500 grams of grapes on an Android device was Rs 65, whereas on an iPhone the same grapes were available for Rs 146.
Pooja Chhabra first thought it was a coincidence, but then she compared the price of capsicum. Its price for Android users was Rs 37, while for iPhone users the price was Rs 69. There was also a difference in the prices of cauliflower and onion. Pooja also asked her followers to check it. In the caption, she wrote, “Why are you doing this @zeptonow??”
