New Delhi. Taking on Google-owned YouTube, the X social media platform will soon launch a TV app for users to upload high quality videos. This was announced by CEO Linda Yaccarino. The user interface of the X TV app will be very similar to YouTube. In a post on the social media platform, Yaccarino said that from the small screen to the big screen, X is changing everything.
X CEO said, ‘Soon we will bring real time content to your smart TV with X TV app. This will be your favorite companion for high-quality, immersive entertainment experiences on the big screen. Users can expect trending video algorithms, AI-powered topics, cross-device experiences, better video search, easy casting, and wide availability.

“We will keep you updated,” Yaccarino said. And yes, please share your ideas. We keep making changes to X for our community. The trending video algorithm is designed to help users stay updated with popular content. An X user said that it would be nice to have a video playlist/index for creators, so that we can create our own playlists.
The user wrote, ‘Many users post different types of videos and want to differentiate their original content from the 30-second news clip on which they are commenting.’ This will help viewers watch only their curated videos.
