1. Whenever you go somewhere for a trip, you need a hotel to stay. But you can get this facility with this confirmed train ticket. If you have a confirmed train ticket then you can use IRCTC dormitory. Where you can get a bed very cheap i.e. up to Rs 150. It is valid for 24 hours only.
2. In Indian Railways, pillow, bedsheet and blanket are all available free in AC1, AC2 and AC3. All these facilities are available free of cost in Garib Rath also. If you do not get these things in AC then you can get these things by showing your train ticket. You will not have to pay any extra charge for this.
3. Many times it happens that one suddenly becomes unwell while travelling. In case of medical emergency, you will get full facility of fast aid in the train itself. You just have to inform the RPF jawan of the train. In case of medical emergency, you can immediately call 139 and express your views. You will get immediate first aid facility. If you are traveling in a train which does not have this facility, then arrangements for the same will be made for you at the next station.

4. You also get the facility of free food on premium train tickets like Rajdhani, Duronto or Shatabdi. If you have such a premium train ticket and your train is late by more than 2 hours, then you will be given free food from the IRCTC canteen. 5. Locker room and cloak room facilities are available at almost all railway stations. In such a situation, you can keep your belongings in these locker rooms and cloak rooms for about 1 month. That is, if you have to go to a city and you just want to keep your luggage somewhere, then you can take advantage of this facility of the Railways. To use this service, you may have to pay a fee of ₹ 50 to ₹ 100 per 24 hours. To avail this facility, you must have a train ticket.
6. If you have a train ticket, then you do not need to sit on the platform and wait for the train. You can use non-AC or AC waiting room for this. For this you will need to show your ticket.
