Red Fort
The historical monument of Delhi, Red Fort is in Chandni Chowk. It was built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan. Its name is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort played an important role in India’s freedom struggle. Its opening and closing time is from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm. From October to March it is open from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The fee here is Rs 35 for Indian citizens and Rs 500 for foreign citizens. Bus numbers- 402, 405, 410, 419 go to Red Fort.
Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar is a historical minar located in India. This is the tallest tower in the world, whose height is 73 meters (240 feet). It was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1192. Its name is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm from April to September. Open from October to March from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Bus numbers for Qutub Minar are- 534, 542 and 551.
Humayun’s Tomb
Humayun’s Tomb is a historical site located in New Delhi, which was built as the tomb of Mughal emperor Humayun. It is built in Nizamuddin. Apart from Humayun’s tomb, the mausoleum also contains the tombs of several other royal figures, including Dara Shikoh, Jahandar Shah, Farrukhshiyar, Rafi ul-Darjat, and Alamgir II. Akshardham Temple

National Museum
The National Museum located in Delhi is a treasure of Indian art, history and culture. Established in 1949, it is one of the largest museums in India, housing over 200,000 artefacts dating back 5,000 years. Here you will find an impressive collection of sculptures, paintings, coins and other artefacts ranging from prehistoric times to modern times. To go here you can take bus numbers 101, 103 and 104.
Craft Museum
It is situated in Pragati Maidan. Its nearest bus stop is also here. To reach here you can take bus numbers 102, 103 and 104. The Craft Museum showcases the rich cultural heritage of India through traditional crafts, artisans and their skills. The entry fee here is Rs 20.
Jama Masjid
To reach here you can take bus services 402, 405 and 410. It is located at Mir Bahadur Ali Lane, Batra House, Chandni Chowk. There is free entry here for Indians. Jama Masjid is one of the largest and most famous mosques of India, which was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1656. You can also visit Chandni Chowk Market, Red Fort, Delhi Gate and Dariba Kalan around Jama Masjid.
Lodhi Garden
It is located at Lodhi Road, New Delhi. To reach here you can get down at Lodhi Garden bus stop. You will have to take bus services numbered 501, 503 and 511. Entry here is free. It is open from 6:00 am to 7:30 pm. This garden is spread over 90 acres. It was built in 1936 by British architect William Robert Mayer. It was built in the memory of the rulers of the Lodi dynasty. You can come here for picnic.
Sarojini Nagar Market
If you want to do a lot of shopping along with travelling, then it would be a big mistake to miss this amazing place. To reach here, you can take bus services 504, 512 and 522, which will drop you at Sarojini Nagar bus stop. This market opens at 10 in the morning and remains open till 9 at night. There is a lot of crowd here for shopping.
Connaught Place
This is the most premium location of Delhi. To reach here you can take bus numbers 101, 103 and 104. The Janpath market present here is quite famous. Here you will find showrooms of every brand. Apart from this, you can go to the oldest Indian coffee house here. Here you can also go to Palika Bazar.
Lotus Temple
Lotus Temple is situated in Nehru Place. To reach here you can take bus numbers 504, 512 and 522. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday and is closed on Monday. Its opening time is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. The design of the temple resembles a lotus flower with 27 marble petals.
