Netflix and FX have proven to be worthy contenders to each other in the ongoing and never-ending network wars, as both platforms have earned the same number of 16 nominations at the 2024 TCA Awards.
Results for the glitzy Television Critics Association Awards will be announced at a ceremony at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena on July 12. So far, Baby Reindeer, Ripley and Shogun lead the way with five nominations each, followed by The Bear with four, and Fargo, Hacks and Reservation Dogs close behind with three claims each.
Disney Plus’ X-Men ’97 has received another nomination following its recognition at the first Gotham TV Awards. Along with the highly acclaimed animated series, its sister program on the platform, Percy Jackson, has also received a nomination in one of the two categories in which the Marvel series is listed.
More importantly, the scathing documentary series ‘Quiet on Set’ which exposed the ugly truth of children’s TV platforms earlier this year has also been mentioned for Outstanding Achievement in the News and Information category.
Here are all of this year’s TCA Awards nominations.
