From better sleep to being mentally healthy, here’s how Nikita Phulwani feels better after losing 53 kg.
Nikita Phulwani, founder of Dubai-based marketing consultancy Byniggi, keeps sharing snippets of her weight loss journey on her Instagram profile @niggiphulvani. In a recent post, Nikita started her weight loss journey in August 2020 and since then, “everything has changed.”
It starts with a decision:
Nikita shared a reel featuring a before and after video of herself sharing her first steps towards weight loss and committing to it. “You are capable of much more than you believe. It all starts with one decision: commitment. Stay committed to the process and yourself. The first step is to recognize that you deserve better, that you can change. After that, it is unfolding every day. It took me 13 months to lose 50 kg, but it took me more than three years to reach my target weight of 65 kg,” read an excerpt from her post.
What changed after her drastic weight loss?
Nikita shared that her weight change paved the way for better things in life. “I have become the person I love,” she said. Nikita further explained how her weight transformation journey has helped her physically and mentally – “Since I started my journey in August 2020, everything has changed. I’ve almost quit drinking, my awareness has sharpened, I’ve stuck to a routine for over 10 months, and my mindset has shifted to abundance and gratitude. I sleep better, my PCOS is gone, and I’ve trained 4-5 times a week for 4 years. I am conscious about my food and my choices.”
