Ellena Hoad, a fitness coach (as per her Instagram bio), keeps sharing snippets of her weight loss journey on her Instagram profile @ellena_fit. Elena shared her weight change in a few weeks a few months ago. Elena shared her before and after picture and wrote, “This is what I’ve been doing for the last few weeks to lose 4kg and feel great like myself again!”

Don’t miss any social event:

Instead of skipping social events to keep an eye on the diet, Elena makes sure to save calories during the day or week. To plan his meals, he also read the program’s menu before the trip.

Tracked calories, ate chocolate:

“I didn’t have to make any big changes or cut out any of my favorite foods. I literally eat chocolate every day,” read an excerpt from her post. Elena kept track of her calories, and had her breakfast by 10 a.m. He aimed for at least 140 grams of protein every day through 3 meals and 2 snacks.

Be Accountable:

“It was never about the scales, but I just want to make it clear that they haven’t always fallen. There have been weeks when they wouldn’t budge, however I didn’t let it get to me and that’s why I got good results. I remained consistent,” Elena wrote, adding that she tracked her weight, took pictures of herself every day and recorded her weight at the gym.

Increase in energy expenditure:

He increased his energy expenditure in the gym. His goals were to walk 8000 or more steps every day, run for 30 minutes, and do 3 resistance training workouts per week. “But sometimes that hasn’t happened and that’s okay. Life happens,” she added.

Remained constant:

“The most important thing is that the key to my progress has been consistency. I didn’t give up when the weight didn’t come off and I didn’t give up when I had a social event to attend,” Elena wrote while sharing her weight transformation journey.
