Wind Breaker Episode 8 Brief Description

The confrontation between Sakura and Togame resumes in episode 8. When Sakura questions Togame about losing her fire mid-way through the fight, Togame is lost in her memories of the past.

As Togame continued to ponder Sakura’s words deeply, he could not stop himself from questioning his actions and intentions in complying with Tomiyama’s declarations about the existing hierarchy and power politics in Shishitoren. Deep in thought, he stoically accepted defeat, welcoming Sakura’s blow. However, soon, Tomiyama, who had been consuming Togame’s thoughts, arrived on the scene.

Although Togame attempted to disobey his order, Tomiyama did not give in and responded by attacking Togame. There was no way to loosen the reins in this battle.

Sakura took this attack personally as she seemed to have developed a bond with Togame during their crossfire. Sakura tried to kill Tomiyama, but Umemiya stopped her actions. With Sakura vs. Togame concluded, it’s now officially time for Choji vs. Umemiya.
