Under which, there will be three pinnacles on the top of the terminal building like Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which includes the first – Omkareshwar Khand, second – Vishweshwar Khand and third – Kedareshwar Khand. These are also known as the three sections of the trident.

According to a senior official of Airport Authority of India, efforts are being made to include almost all the things that make the architecture of Kashi Vishwanath Temple special in the new terminal building of Varanasi Airport.
In this sequence, the next pillars of the terminal building have been designed like the pillars of the main gate of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The carvings of the windows in these pillars are exactly the same as the carvings done in the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

72 check-in counters will be made in the new terminal building of Varanasi Airport for check-in of passengers. Apart from this, self check in kiosk, baggage drop kiosk, baggage wrapping machine will also be available in the checkin area.
There will be about one and a half dozen counters for security check in the pre-embarkation security check area of the terminal. Apart from this, aerobuse will also be constructed for the convenience of passengers and quick movement of aircraft.
