Sania Mirza reflects on the challenges of being famous. She gives priority to her son Izhaan while attempting to maintain a balance between work and motherhood.
Sania Mirza has a lot on her plate after being appointed Dubai’s sports ambassador. With an illustrious career like his, if a film is made on his journey then it will definitely be inspirational for many.
But we still don’t see anything coming to fruition in Mirza’s life. She says there has been interest, “A biopic is in the works, a lot of people are talking about it. But I haven’t had any offers recently, unless my managers told me about it!”
While the work is going on, Mirza is also managing her tennis academies, that didn’t stop her from celebrating the New Year with her ‘forever date’, as she called her six-year-old child, fondly called Ijzu. Hai, captioned his photo with.
We ask her about life as a single mom. “No matter what I do in my life, my son Izhaan will always be my priority. He will remain the same even amidst my professional commitments. That doesn’t mean I don’t do other things. I try to keep my stuff around Izhaan as much as possible,” says the 38-year-old, who became a mother in 2018.

“I also try not to leave her too much, maybe a couple of nights at most if I have to travel for work. It all works automatically. I try to find a balance,” she adds. Being a busy public figure also means that she is constantly in the public eye.
There will be a pressure in his life to do and say the right thing. Does Mirza realize this? “Being famous or not comes with its challenges. I feel more responsibility than pressure. I think there are a lot of kids who look up to you, so you have a certain sense of responsibility for your conduct. I try to be myself as much as possible in people’s eyes. I feel humbled and honored to hold this position. I speak from my heart,” she said.
