Ivory Coast was previously ruled by FranceIn 1960, Ivory Coast became free from French rule. Now ordered the French army to leave the country

Maldives has always been a friend of India. But as soon as the government changed, President Mohammad Muizzu started taking decisions against him. Even the Indian soldiers who had been on Maldivian soil for years were ordered to leave the country, for which they were criticized a lot. Now African country Ivory Coast has taken a similar step. The President of Ivory Coast has ordered the French soldiers present for decades to leave the country immediately.

In his address to the nation on New Year, Ivory Coast President Alassane Ouattara said, we have asked French soldiers to leave the country. French soldiers will leave the country this month. The 43rd BIMA Marine Infantry Battalion is deployed in Port-Boit, Abidjan. They will be handed over to France by the end of January. Ouattara said, we can be proud of our army. We have modernized it. Therefore, we no longer need the French army for our security.

38 year old man, whatever he said till now turned out to be true, amazing prediction for 2025

how many soldiers were deployed
Ivory Coast was once ruled by France, but the country became independent in 1960. Despite this, about 1,000 French soldiers were stationed in Ivory Coast. Ivory Coast is not the only country that has asked French soldiers to leave its soil. Earlier, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger had also given a similar decision. Last November, Senegal and Chad had also ordered French troops to leave their soil. On 26 December, France returned its first military base to Chad.

70 percent countries returned troops
Ivory Coast is an important ally of France. But this order of the President has come at a time when France’s grip on the African continent is loosening. France is continuously making new strategies to regain its military influence. Of the countries which used to be ruled by France, 70 percent of the countries have expelled the French army from their countries. Now only 1,500 French soldiers are left in Djibouti and 350 soldiers are left in Gabon.
