The MP of the Conservative Party appealed to the UK Home Secretary Yett Cooper to intervene in the case and issue a statement on it.

Blackman also alleged in Parliament that similar obstacles at the screening of the film were also seen in Birmingham, Manchester, Wolverhampton, Slal and Stanes, due to which the theater decided to stop screening of the film. He called it a ‘very controversial film’.
