West Bengal Tate Exam Controversy
After the TET exam in December 2023, there were reports of a paper leak. Gautam Paul, president of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, however, rejected the claims at that time, stating that the allegations were made with the intention of spoiling the board.
“There have been reports that a part of the OMR sheet was broadcast on WhatsApp after the examination started in the afternoon, but such reports are untrue.” Paul told reporters on the day of the exam, “Not a single incident has taken place at any center. The students entered the examination hall at 11 am and their mobile phone was removed.”
