Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday made a grand welcome to the people in Silvasa as he visit Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu’s center area to inaugurate several development projects.
Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development works for the central region. 2,580 crores.
PM Modi said, “A historic day is being launched for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu as major development projects.”
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the first phase of Namo Hospital.
Silvasa will have a 450-bed facility that will be made at the price of over 460 crores. The statement said that this center will greatly strengthen health services in the area.
An official said that the hospital would provide state -of -the -art medical care to the people in this area, especially to the tribal communities, an official.
PM Modi also gave appointment letters to newly recruited persons in the departments and organizations of the government.
Modi to visit Gujarat
Later, Modi will travel to Gujarat and start the Surat Food Safety Saturation Campaign around 5 pm.
Accordingly, on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, PM Modi will participate in the Lakhpati Didi program in Vansi Borsi village in Navsari district and will interact with Lakhpati Didis.
The statement said that the PM will start the G-Safal of the state government (Gujarat scheme for Antoyode families for livelihood) and G-Matri (Acceleration of individuals for rural mentorship and transforming rural income) program.
The G-Matri Yojana will provide financial assistance and handholding aid to the startups that are working to create a favorable environment for rural livelihoods.
G-saphal will provide financial assistance and entrepreneurship training to self-help groups of women from Antoyode families in two aspiration districts and 13 aspirations of Gujarat.
