Visit the pilgrimage places of South India together, Railways has brought an economical package

Bikaner. If you want to go on a pilgrimage but don’t have the means, then don’t be disappointed. Railways has brought a special package tour for you. Railways will organize a tour of famous religious places of South India together. The special train which will take you will pass through the major stations of Rajasthan.

Keeping in mind the immense demand of devotees, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), an undertaking of Indian Railways, will organize the South India Darshan Yatra. This journey will depart from Sri Ganganagar on August 15 and will take passengers via Hanumangarh, Sadulpur Junction, Churu, Sikar Junction, Ringas Junction, Jaipur Junction, Sawai Madhopur Junction and Kota Junction. The duration of this journey is 12 days, in which you will get a chance to visit Rameswaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, Mallikarjuna and Tirupati Balaji.

IRCTC Joint General Manager Tourism Yogendra Singh Gurjar said that Bharat Gaurav tourist train is equipped with many facilities. It will have air-conditioned third AC coach, modern kitchen-car. The journey has been kept in two categories, standard category and comfort category. The price of standard category is Rs 32,565. It will have AC train, non-AC accommodation and non-AC buses. The price of comfort category has been kept at Rs 41,670/-. It will have AC train along with AC accommodation and AC buses.

This pilgrimage train will depart from Sri Ganganagar on 15th August and reach Tirupati Balaji on 17.08.24. The night halt will be in Tirupati on 17th and 18th August. The train will depart from Tirupati on the next day i.e. 19th August and reach Rameswaram on 20th August. There the Ramnath Swamy temple will be visited. The night halt will be in Rameswaram. On 21st August, it will depart from Rameswaram for Madurai. In the evening, the Meenakshi temple will be visited in Madurai. After that, the train will depart for Kanyakumari at night.

Visit Kanyakumari and Mallikarjuna Swamy
The train will reach Kanyakumari on 22 August in the morning. A tour of Kanyakumari will be organised during the day. The train will leave for Mallikarjuna at night. It will reach Srisailam on 24 August. Here the passengers will be given darshan of Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga. After the darshan, the train will leave for Sri Ganganagar at night and will return to Sri Ganganagar on 26 August.

LTC facility
The special thing about this pilgrimage tour is that along with confirmed berth, hotel accommodation, transportation and temple darshan facilities will also be provided to the passengers. In this pilgrimage scheme, along with insurance, government/PSU employees can also avail LTC facility as per eligibility based on the guidelines issued by the Finance Ministry, Government of India.
