UPSC 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday published the notification for Civil Services Examination (CSE) and Indian Forest Service Examination (IFS) for the year 2025. Interested candidates can check the notice on the official UPSC website, UPSC. .gov.in.

UPSC 2025: 1129 vacancies

The Commission is inviting applications for a total of 1129 vacancies. Out of the total, 979 are for CSE while the remaining 150 are for IFS. registration window Opened on January 22 and the online application portal will close on February 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm. How to Apply for UPSC CSE Exam 2025?

To apply for UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025, candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website – upsconline.nic.in and then click on the ‘Examination’ section

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Online’ link.

Step 3: Enter all the required details including name, date of birth and contact information for one-time registration.

Step 4: Fill the application form – Provide personal details, educational qualification and preferred examination centre.

Step 5: Upload the required documents – A recent photograph and signature.

Step 6: Pay Rs. ₹100 application fee through online banking, debit/credit card or by visiting the designated bank branch.

UPSC CSE 2025: Exam Date

Applicants will have to appear for the UPSC CSE preliminary exam to be held on 25th May (Sunday). Window for modifying amendments in application form Can be done from 12th to 18th February.

If any applicant needs to make modifications in the application form then the candidate can do so within the limited time limit as the portal will open on 12th February and close on 18th February.

The notification read, “The Commission has introduced a time limit of 7 days (one week) i.e. from the next day of the examination date till 6.00 pm of the 7th day prescribed for the candidates to make representations to the Commission on the questions asked.
