The Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh has started the registration for pre-matric and post-matric scholarship for the session 2024-25.
Students enrolled in schools in Uttar Pradesh are being provided a great new opportunity to continue their studies without worrying about finances. According to the report of Local18, the scholarship is being organized by the Uttar Pradesh government, for which the online application process has started. The Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh has started the registration for pre-matric and post-matric scholarship for the session 2024-25. According to the report of Local18, the application will have to be made as per the eligibility and before the last date. The information states that students will be provided scholarships as per their course. To apply for the scholarship, students can visit the official website scholarship.up.gov.in. Keep in mind, the student must be enrolled in a recognized institute or school in the state.
After completing the online application, hard copies of all the required documents, high-school and intermediate mark sheets and registration form have to be sent to the concerned institute within the prescribed period. The last date for submission of hard copy is January 5, 2025. If students have accidentally made any mistake while applying, they will be able to make corrections from January 29 to February 5, 2025.
According to District Backward Class Social Welfare Officer Chetan Singh, applications for OBC 10th scholarship (except classes 11 and 12) have started. Its last date is November 20, 2024.
Students need to submit the following documents to fill UP Scholarship Form:
Aadhaar/PAN Card, Income Certificate, Birth Certificate, Residence Certificate, Previous Year Marksheet, Fee Receipt, Scanned Copy of Bank Passbook, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Passport Size Photo, Enrollment Number and Others . If they fail to bring any of the listed documents, their applications run the risk of being rejected.
