The Uttar Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is moving fast in terms of providing jobs to the youth. After the 60,000 constable recruitment examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police, the Chief Minister has opened the doors for the young generation. CM Yogi has directed that all the vacant posts in the state, including Naib Tehsildar and Tehsildar, be filled as soon as possible.
In a recent event, the state’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that there will be more than 40,000 recruitments in the Uttar Pradesh Police in the next six months. The recruitment process for this will start soon. During a program organized at Lok Bhavan, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on the UP Police Recruitment Exam that this is the first time in history that such a large-scale civil police force examination has been conducted simultaneously and without any incident anywhere in the world.
UP Police Recruitment Process
CM Yogi Adityanath announced 2 lakh new appointments during this government initiative, out of which 1 lakh appointments will be made this year and the remaining 1 lakh will be made next year.
Of these, one lakh posts are exclusively for the police force, of which twenty percent are for female applicants only. These one lakh police recruitments include 60,244 police constable posts, which are currently being filled; forty thousand more posts will be available after this round is over.
CM Yogi Adityanath also praised the Prevention of Unfair Means in Public Examinations Act-2024 during the program. He claimed that its proper implementation has made the appointment process transparent. Candidates who missed applying or were not selected in the 60,244 recruitments released this time will get a direct chance in the new 40 thousand recruitments coming in the UP Police Department.
UP Police Recruitment: Exam Pattern & Eligibility
To apply for the UP Police Constable post, the candidate must be 12th pass. Apart from this, the age limit of the candidate should be 18 to 25 years. Applicants from specified categories are exempted from the maximum age limit. Apart from this, a unique feature is that youth from any state are eligible to apply to become UP Police Constable. The applicant does not need to live in Uttar Pradesh to apply for these posts.
The written examination for this has been completed. Those who pass this examination will now be called for physical examination. More than 50 lakh applicants had applied for these posts, yet more than 6 lakh applicants withdrew their names from the examination. The special thing is that applications for UP Police Constable Recruitment came from other states besides Uttar Pradesh.
