According to reports, a prestigious university in the United Kingdom is offering scholarships to engineering students from India, Thailand and Malaysia to complete their master’s degree in the university.
According to reports, the name of the institution is University of Strathclyde, which is located in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. The university has announced scholarships worth £10,000 (Rs 10.51 lakh) for post-graduation engineering students from India, Malaysia and Thailand.
Reportedly, this scholarship is a part of the Great Scholarship Program jointly launched by the British Council and 49 universities in the UK. It is learned that this scholarship will help international students to complete their postgraduate studies in the field of engineering in UK.
According to the information, a scholarship of at least £10,000 (Rs 10 lakh) will be provided to students doing postgraduation in engineering. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must take admission in a one-year master’s program. Furthermore, students interested in the scholarship must also have a valid passport of their country. Students who are interested to apply for the scholarship can fill the application form and submit it by May 3.
As per the notification given by the university, the fields which are eligible for the scholarship are Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Design Manufacturing and Engineering Management, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, etc.
