UGC NET June 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window to apply for the UGC NET June 2024 exam tomorrow i.e. May 19, 2024, at 11.59 pm. Candidates who want to appear for UGC-NET June 2024 but have not completed their registration can visit the official website of NTA UGC at ugcnet.nta.ac.in and apply for it before the window closes. Can. The correction window will open on May 21 and close on May 23, 2024. UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted on June 18, 2024 in 181 testing cities.
It is important to note that registered candidates can make the fee payment through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI till 20th May 2024 by 11:59 PM.
As per the notification, candidates should note that the e-mail address and mobile number given in the online application form should belong to them or their parents/guardians only. All information/communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or through SMS on the registered mobile number only.
UGC NET June 2024: Eligibility Criteria
As per UGC NET June 2024 notification, Unreserved candidates with at least 55% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by the UGC in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science and Applications and Electronic Sciences are eligible for the examination.
Non-creamy layer/SC/ST/Other Backward Class (OBC) with Disability and third gender category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible.
UGC NET June 2024: Age Limit
There is no upper age limit for appearing in the UGC NET Professorship examination, whereas for the post of JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), the age of the candidates should not be more than 30 years on the first day of the month of examination. Compiled i.e. 01.06.2024. Relaxation up to 5 years is provided to candidates belonging to OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PWD/III gender categories and female applicants.
UGC NET June 2024: Application Fee
As per UGC NET 2024 June notification, the application fee for general candidates is 1,150; General-EWS/OBC (NCL) 600; And for SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender candidates 325. All categories have to pay the examination fee before 11.50 pm on the last day of fee payment i.e. 12th May 2024. Candidates can deposit the fee through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.

- Click on “New Candidates Register Here”
- Candidate must register for online application form
- Create a password and choose a security question
- Note the system-generated application number
- – Now login with application number
- Fill up the application form
- Provide required details
- upload document
- Click on Submit
- Pay Application Fee
- Download the confirmation page and take a printout for future reference.
UGC NET June 2024: Exam Date
UGC NET June 2024 exam will be conducted on 18th June 2024. Duration of the exam will be 180 minutes (3 hours). The examination will be conducted in OMR (pen and paper) mode. The test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will have objective type, multiple choice questions. There will be no break between papers.
