New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday announced in a public notice that the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) scheduled to be held on January 15, 2025 (Wednesday) has been postponed due to Makar Sankranti and Pongal festivals. “National Testing Agency has received a request to postpone the UGC – NET December 2024 examination on January 15, 2025 due to Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. In the interest of the candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to postpone the UGC-NET December 2024 examination only scheduled on January 15, 2025,” the agency said in a statement.
