IIT ROORKEE CAMPUS (File)
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) provides several scholarships to support students in its undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs in Roorkee Engineering, Architecture, Applied Sciences and Planning Studies. IIT ROORKEE with research and PhD opportunities in departments offers graduate degrees in 55 subjects and postgraduate programs in 55 subjects.
Here are some scholarships provided by the institute to reward educational excellence and merit, ensuring that qualified students get the necessary financial assistance.
Major scholarship offered:
-Sems Thomson Scholarship is available to students of BTECH, Barch, Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), Integrated MSC (IMS), and BS-MS programs. Students admitted through JEE (Advanced) with All India rank up to 250 are eligible for this scholarship.
-Merit-cum-Mines (MCM) scholarship is provided to UG students, which provides a stipend of Rs 1,000 per month for 10 months and returns the remaining fee based on academic performance and financial requirement.
– Dr. Surendra K. The selected students will take advantage of the scheme’s benefits until they meet the plans and the criteria set up for the graduates.
– Inspire from the Department of Science and Technology, that scholarship supports the top 1% science students from its class 12 board exams or who has passed JEE, NEET or KVPY examination. This scholarship provides support from UG to PG for students in science streams in recognized institutions.
– Alpowers scholarship to support cash prizes under corporate social responsibility. This is a one -time financial assistance. Students will be selected on the basis of online competition.
– Shraman Foundation Scholarship provides 60 scholarships, with maximum Rs. 35,000 per semester, financially graduated students to force them. The amount may be different depending on individual financial requirements. At least Rs. A minimum of 15 students will be honored with. 15,000 per semester. Eligible applicants are 1 and 2 years B.Tech., B.ARCH., B.Des., Or dual degrees with an annual family income of less than the rupee. 5 lakhs, and not receiving any other similar scholarship.
– A special scholarship of each annual Rs 1,000 is provided to two engineering students from an academicly deprived background. To maintain this scholarship, a minimum CGPA of 7.0 is required.
