New Delhi. Volkswagen has officially announced the Indian prices for its latest additions to the Taigun lineup. The starting price of Taigun GT Line has been kept at Rs 14.08 lakh and the price of powerful Taigun GT Plus Sport has been kept at Rs 18.54 lakh. Both these are ex-showroom prices.
The price announcement comes just a month after these variants were first revealed. These new models are available in both manual and automatic transmission options. Taigun GT Line prices range between Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 15.63 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with a 1.0-litre engine, offering both manual and auto transmission. On the other hand, the Taigun GT Plus Sport variant with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine is priced between Rs 18.54 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 19.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Volkswagen has also included a complimentary 4-year Service Value Package (SVP) for the high-spec GT Plus Sport trims. The delivery of these new models has started this month, which has increased the enthusiasm of potential buyers. The Taigun GT Line has been designed for those looking for a sporty yet efficient vehicle. It comes with a 114bhp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and is available in both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic variants.
Talking about Taigun GT Plus Sport, it is aimed at those customers who are looking for a more powerful option. It is equipped with a 148bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is available in 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic variants. The new black colored Taigun variants will compete with Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, Kia Seltos X-Line and Hyundai Creta N Line in the market.
