TTD President BR Naidu on Saturday urged to nominate Tirumala as a no-fly zone for the intervention of Ram Mohan Naidu of Civil Aviation Minister.
Tirumala should be declared a no-fly zone, keeping in mind the principles of Agama Shastra (Holy texts), keeping in mind the sanctity of the temple and the safety and emotions of the devotees, he said.
Naidu said, “Low flying aircraft, helicopters and other air activities on Tirumala Hill are disturbing the holy environment around the Srivari (Lord Venkateswara) temple.”
To protect Tirumala’s sanctity and cultural and spiritual heritage, the President of TTD sought the Union Minister to respond to the matter for appropriate action.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is the patron of the famous Lord Venkateswara Temple.
