Postpartum thyroiditis:

Effect of thyroid disorders on pregnancy results:

“The level of adequate thyroid hormone is important for the development of the fetal brain. Both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism can obstruct this process. Untreated thyroid disorders can pose significant health risk for pregnant women, including heart issues, severe fatigue, and anemia. Dr. Tejas Gundwar stated that conditions such as gestational diabetes, preclampsia and placental abruptation are more common in women.
