Now the common man may have to spend more money than before to make a DL. In UP, instead of RTO, now private driving training centers will take your driving test. If you pass this test, then your DL will be made. But, if you do not pass, then you will have to pay the fee again. Earlier the RTO used to charge you 1000 rupees to make a DL, but under the new system, it will charge you 6000 rupees.

Let us tell you that this new system in UP has started in Noida and Greater Noida. Under this, applicants have to pay Rs 6000 for a permanent driving license. Gradually, this system will be implemented in the whole of UP including Ghaziabad. Earlier, it used to cost Rs 1000 to make a DL, but in the new system, Rs 6000 is being charged from applicants for a commercial license. There is an effort to implement this system in the whole of UP.

Now you will have to pay 6000 rupees for DL…
For this process, applicants will have to pay Rs 1000 online. This process of making DL will change completely from the month of October. From the month of October, to get a permanent license, it will be mandatory for the applicants to deposit Rs 6000 on selecting the option of Driving Training Center (DTC). After this, the applicants will be tested in the driving center. If an applicant passes the driving test for the first time, he will get a permanent license. But, if someone fails in the first attempt, then it will be mandatory for him to deposit Rs 200 to give the test again.

Ghaziabad’s ARTO Administration Rahul Srivastava Talking to News 18 Hindi, he said, ‘Look, this system has not been implemented in Ghaziabad yet. The new system has been implemented in Noida and Greater Noida of Gautam Buddha Nagar. A fee of Rs 6000 has been fixed for commercial vehicles. See, driving training centers are now opening in every district. Till now we charge Rs 350 for learning license and Rs 1000 for permanent DL. However, from the month of October, a driving training center will also start in Ghaziabad near Guldhar. After this, the driving training centers being built in Dasna and Rajnagar Extension will also start. After this, the charge for making a commercial DL in Ghaziabad will also be around Rs 6000.’

Let us tell you that in this new system started for making driving license in Noida, more than 80 percent people are failing. The special thing is that compared to earlier, the number of DLs being made every day has also come down by 97-98 percent. This shows that the standards for making driving licenses were being openly violated. Also, the applicants complain that they are being deliberately failed to charge more fees.
