The village’s YouTubers have 40 active YouTube channels, one of the channels named Being Chhattisgarh. There are more than 120,000 subscribers. There are more than 250 videos on this channel which show comedy and Chhattisgarhi culture.
How to make digital content hub
Tulsi village is near the capital Raipur and its total population is around 6,000. Here not only teenagers but also adults are fond of making content and making interesting videos. Most of the villagers use good cameras and divies to make video content. The change in digital content hub from a small village of Tulsi began in 2016 when two people named Jai and Gyanendra Shukla started making YouTube videos.
Jai and Gyanendra started their YouTube channel ‘Being Chhattisgarh’, although they had no experience before. As the popularity of his channel increased, other villagers also started making their channels, in which a general guidelines for making family-friendly contests were followed. His video, inspired by local culture, includes modern themes related to events such as elections and festivals.
