New Delhi. The popularity of Honda two-wheelers in India has persisted for a long time. If we look at the figures for November 2024, the company recorded total sales of 4,32,888 units in the domestic market. This figure is 2.90% more than last year in November 2023, when 4,20,677 units were sold. This growth of the company clearly shows the confidence in Honda’s brand among the customers.
On the export front, Honda performed brilliantly last month. According to Rushlane report, the company exported a total of 39,861 units of two-wheelers in November 2024. This figure is 46.70% more than the export of 27,172 units last year in November 2023. This growth has given Honda a stronger position in the global market.
Sales situation including domestic and export
Including domestic market and export, Honda sold a total of 4,72,749 units last month. This is a better performance than the 4,47,849 units recorded in the same month last year.
However, a decline was seen in monthly sales. In October 2024, Honda had sold 5,53,120 units in the domestic market, while in November 2024 this figure came down to 4,32,888 units. On monthly basis this decline was 21.74%.
Contribution of popular models
Honda’s popular models like Activa, Shine, Dio, Unicorn, Dream and SP160 are playing a major role in the Indian market. The strong demand for these models has helped the company perform well in both domestic and international markets.
Despite fluctuations in sales, Honda two-wheelers still remain a favorite among Indian customers. The company’s continuously increasing export growth and demand for new models keeps it ahead in the market.
