New Delhi. The list of best selling vehicles in April 2024 has been revealed. Although Maruti has maximum number of cars in the list of top-10 cars, but there is one car which has troubled the big companies like Maruti and Hyundai for the last two months. This SUV is selling so fast that even entry level cars have been left behind. In the sales of last April also, this car has secured the number-1 position and has defeated the best selling cars of Maruti and Hyundai.
If we talk about the best selling car of April 2024, then the first name in this list is of Tata’s micro SUV Punch. Last month, car customers liked it very much and this SUV came to the number-1 position with total sales of 19,158 units. Let us tell you that in March this year, 17,547 units of Punch were sold. The increase in sales of Punch shows that this car is becoming increasingly popular among the customers.
Entry-level cars eliminated
Punch overtook Maruti’s top selling car Wagon R. Not only this, Hyundai’s cheapest car i10 Nios also lagged far behind the Punch. Last month, Wagon R was at second place with 17,850 units. Whereas Brezza managed to secure the third position with sales of 17,113 units. Almost all the entry level cars have been out from the list of top-10 cars. Maruti Alto K10 has sold 9,043 units, which is slightly less than March. Whereas cars like Hyundai i10 and Renault Kwid have sold very little.
How many Creta-Scorpio were sold?
A total of 15,447 units of Hyundai Creta have been sold which is less than 16,458 units sold in March. There has also been a decline in the sales of Scorpio. Scorpio sold 15,151 units in March. Maruti’s 7 seater Ertiga has sold 13,544 units.
