New Delhi. BMW has launched the new high spec variant of iX xDrive50 in India. Its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 1.40 crore. A large battery is provided in this top variant. More range will also be available in it. Besides, powerful motors are also provided here. Compared to the iX xDrive40, minor changes have been made in the interior and exterior. Compared to xDrive40, xDrive50 is more expensive by Rs 19 lakh.

As can be understood from the name itself, the iX xDrive50 has a 111.5kWh battery pack. Its WLTP-certified range is 635km. Here two electric motors are provided on each axle. Which generates combined power of 523hp and peak torque of 765Nm through all wheel drive. This all-electric SUV reaches a speed of 100kph in just 4.6 seconds.

BMW has said that its battery can be charged 10-80 percent in 35 minutes through a 195kW DC charger. At the same time, this much charging can be done in 97 minutes through 50kW DC, in 5.5 hours through 22kW AC charger and in about 11 hours through 11kW AC charger.

How is the interior and exterior of BMW iX xDrive50?
Whereas the iX xDrive 50 and xDrive40 look more or less similar. Also, almost similar features and safety kits have been provided in them. New 22-inch alloy wheels and adaptive suspension are provided as standard in the iX xDrive 50. At the same time, laserlight highlights, titanium bronze exterior finish and active seat ventilation will be offered as options.
