New Delhi. Mahindra’s new SUV XUV 3XO has created a stir as soon as it came into the market. The company is delivering this SUV rapidly to compete with its rival Tata Nexon. Its delivery was started on 26 May. On the very first day, the company delivered the SUV to 1,500 customers. Let us tell you that Mahindra started booking XUV 3XO on May 15, 2024 and within just 1 hour of starting the booking, 50,000 customers had booked the car.
According to the company, the maximum bookings have been received for the petrol variant. Out of 100 cars booked, 70 are petrol variants. Let us tell you that this car has been introduced in both petrol and diesel engines. This SUV will compete with Tata Nexon as well as replace Mahindra’s old SUV XUV300.

Which variant is being delivered?
Mahindra has started deliveries of only the mid-spec variant of the XUV 3XO. The SUV is available in a total of 9 variants. Customers who have received their units include variants like AX5, AX5 L, MX3 and MX3 Pro. Mahindra will start deliveries of the entry-level M1, MX2 and MX2 Pro as well as top-end variants like AX7 and AX7 L from next month. The variants being delivered are priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine and Transmission
The XUV 3XO is equipped with three powertrain options which include a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre GDi turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter unit. Its power output ranges between 110bhp to 129bhp, while the torque output ranges between 200Nm to 230Nm. The carmaker also offers the SUV with a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Equipped with panoramic sunroof and ADAS technology
If we talk about the cabin, the company has given a completely updated cabin in the XUV 3XO. Its cabin looks bigger and completely different from the previous model. The dashboard gets an all-digital instrument panel with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apart from this, the interior has a new steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, ambient lighting, 360-degree surround camera, leatherette seats and a redesigned center console. The SUV also has the facility of rear AC vent. Apart from this, the SUV also has first-in-segment safety features like panoramic sunroof and level-2 ADAS suite.
