Actually, there is a place called Pramod Van in Janakikund area of ​​Chitrakoot where the stream of Mandakini river is flowing continuously. People come from far and wide to this Pramod Van and bathe in cold water for hours. The special thing about this is that people do not get many facilities here, but they do not have to spend even a rupee. There is neither a ticket nor any kind of charge here.

Chitrakoot is crowded every day with people coming from Mumbai, Delhi and many other places including West Bengal. All the people coming here keep bathing for hours in peace and happiness in the Pramod Van of Chitrakoot. This is the same Chitrakoot where Lord Shri Ram spent eleven and a half years of his exile.

Tirath Ram and other devotees who came from Khajuraho told that the Pramod Van of Chitrakoot is full of beauty and is completely natural. Coming here brings peace to the mind as well as a beautiful view. People also believe that by taking bath here all sins are destroyed. The reason behind the destruction of sins is that the water in which people bathe comes directly from Mandakini. There are some people who visit this place again and again.
