Toyota launched Rumion last year to compete with Maruti Ertiga in the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) segment. The company is getting tremendous response from customers for this MPV. The demand for its CNG variant was so much that its booking had to be stopped within a few days of its launch. Now once again the company has started booking Rumiyan.
Toyota Rumion CNG can be booked at a price of Rs 11,000. Let us tell you that the G AT variant of this MPV is available for booking in CNG. Its price starts from Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom). the engine is powerful
The Toyota Rumion uses a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated K-series petrol engine which is sourced from the Maruti Ertiga. This engine generates power of 103 bhp and torque of 137 Nm. The engine has been given the option of 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual gearbox. Only 5-speed manual gearbox option is available in CNG engine. In CNG mode, this car generates maximum power of 88 bhp and peak torque of 121.5 Nm.
Talking about mileage, its petrol variant gets a mileage of 20.51 km per liter, while its CNG variant gets a mileage of 26.11 km per kg.
The features are also great
Talking about the features, its different variants have been provided with 7-inch touchscreen system, automatic transmission, cruise control and paddle shifters with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of safety, it also includes features like four airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, electronic stability control (ESC), a rear parking camera and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Price of Toyota Rumion?
The price of Toyota Rumion MPV starts from Rs 10.44 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.73 lakh (ex-showroom). In the market it competes with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Mahindra Bolero and Kia Carens.
