Mirzapur: During the Shardiya Navratri fair, a huge crowd of devotees gathers for darshan at Maa Vindhyavasini Dham. Devotees from Bihar, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand reach Vindhyadham for darshan of the mother. In view of the expected crowd of devotees, additional trains from the railways will stop at Vindhyachal station. They will stop at the station for two minutes.
This time Navratri is going to start from October 3. Navratri will end by October 13. Around 15 lakh devotees reach Maa Vindhyavasini Dham for darshan in nine days. Most of these devotees reach Maa’s Dham by train. Taking a special initiative for the passengers, the railway has decided to temporarily stop 11 trains. Passengers will be able to book tickets easily and stop at Vindhyachal station.

In view of Navratri festival, SMVT Bengaluru-Danapur Sanghamitra Express (12295/12296), Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express (12801/12802), Lokmanya Tilak T.-Patliputra Superfast Express (12141/12142), Howrah-Jodhpur Express (12307/12308) and Jogbani-Anand Vihar T. Express (12487/12488), Howrah-Bikaner Express (22307/22308), Lokmanya Tilak T.-Bhagalpur Express (12335/12336), Lokmanya Tilak T.- Guwahati Express (15646/15645), Lokmanya Tilak T.-Guwahati Express (15648/15647), Kamakhya-Delhi Brahmaputra Mail (15658/15657) and Lokmanya Tilak T.-Banaras Express (12168/12167) will have stoppage.
The train will stop for two minutes
North Central Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer Shashikant Tripathi said that in view of the crowd of devotees at Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, 11 additional trains will stop for 10 days. The train will stop at Vindhyachal station for two minutes. This will enable passengers to reach their destination easily. The additional trains include superfast and express trains. Passengers will be able to book tickets.
