The city with a population of 350,000 is 600 km (370 mi) south-west from the capital Buenos Aires. Bulrich told Radio Mitre that the missing girls probably took flood water. At least five people were killed on flood -affected roads, possibly because they were trapped in their cars in rapidly growing water.
