The feeling of unseen fear! People stay awake all night in this city of Rajasthan, this is the reason

Date:

Nikhil Swami/Bikaner:- Generally you would have seen or heard people staying awake or partying all night in Mumbai and Goa. In these cities, people roam around, eat, drink or do many other activities throughout the night apart from the day. But there is a city in Rajasthan which stays awake the whole night. It may sound strange, but it is true. Even after working during the day, many people of Bikaner in Rajasthan remain awake till the whole night. People sit on the benches at every intersection here and discuss about the country and abroad the whole night. In Mumbai and Goa, people stay awake to roam around and eat and drink. But the people of this village wake up not to roam around, but to sit on the footpaths and talk.

This place is famous as Dharmanagari
Bikaner resident Jeetu Kochhar said that people sit on these benches and discuss politics along with their religion and society. Bikaner is also known as Dharmanagari. Here in the fort of Bikaner, there are squares and intersections at every short distance. Here Pata can be seen every 100 to 200 steps. These streets remain empty in the morning and after 8 pm, there is a crowd of people on these streets, which continues till the whole night. Many people discuss till two or three o’clock, while many people keep sleeping and staying awake while sitting on these benches.

Note:- Destination or death! The girl was walking on the rope, people were watching with bated breath, there was a sound of applause and…

Pata culture of Bikaner
The pates here are quite historical and are about 100 to 200 years old. It is known as Pata culture among the people of Bikaner. Instead of sitting on chairs, tables and sofas, there has been an ancient practice of holding group discussions here on large wooden boards. Local people call these planks Pata. Usually, you would have seen trees having four legs, but in Bikaner, the wooden ones are made of trees having seven to nine legs. The local people here maintain these bridges from time to time. 15 to 25 people sit together on these seats.
