About diplomat
Directed by Shivam Nair (fame of Naam Shabana) and starring John Abraham and Sadia Khetab in lead roles, the film is based on the real -life story of Indian national Ujma Ahmed. He was brought back to India in 2017 after a Pakistani person allegedly stuck honey. He revealed that he was designed to marry at the tip of the gun and was abused after his meeting in his country. It recalls the efforts of senior diplomat JP Singh, who is currently to save Israel’s messenger, an Indian woman, who promised to lure Pakistan in 2017, who promised to marry her. John is seen in the role of Singh in the film.
The Hindustan Times Review of the Diplomat read in an excerpt, “This is a difficult-touching project, otherwise, the second half is taken care of- usually, it moves downwards at the end of the speed of a film. But the diplomat is considered one of the thriller games where you have to complete a mission with the car chase and stressful encounters. How Uzma eventually crosses the India-Pakistan border to reach home, this is a satisfactory conclusion ”.
