Even in September 2024, Royal Enfield models ruled the top-4 positions of this segment. Six models of Royal Enfield were also included in the top-10 list. At the same time, brands like Triumph, Jawa, Yezdi, Bajaj and Honda also managed to make their place in the list.
Royal Enfield remains number-1 in the sales of middle weight bikes. The company is selling 8 models in India, while it is also preparing to launch an electric model very soon, which will be revealed at the EICMA bike show to be held in Italy this year. Classic 350 achieved first place
Royal Enfield Classic 350 took the first position in the segment with sales of 33,065 units in September 2024. Its 28,450 units were sold in August. That means its sales increased by 4,615 units, giving it an annual growth of 16.22%. The market share of this bike was 37.62%.
Royal Enfield Hunter 350 sold 17,406 units in September 2024, while in August this figure was 13,481 units. It sold 3,925 more units and got an annual growth of 29.12%. The market share of Hunter 350 was 17.82%.
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 recorded sales of 12,901 units in September 2024, while the figure was 8,660 units in August. Due to this, Bullet 350 got a growth of 48.97% and its market share was 11.45%. At the same time, 8,665 units of Royal Enfield Meteor 350 were sold in September, whereas in August this figure was 6,785 units. Due to this, Meteor 350 got an annual growth of 27.71% and its market share was 8.97%.
Royal Enfield Himalayan sold 1,814 units in September, while 2,099 units were sold in August. Due to this, Himalayan got a degrowth of 13.58% and its market share was 2.78%. At the same time, 1,657 units of Royal Enfield Guerrilla were sold in September, due to which it got a degrowth of 24.85% and its market share was 2.92%.
Triumph 400 and Jawa Yezdi also showed their strength
Triumph 400 sold 3,411 units in September, while in August this figure was 3,328 units. Due to this it got a growth of 2.49% and its market share was 4.4%. Whereas, 2,125 units of Jawa Yezdi (Retail) were sold in September and it got an annual growth of 3.26%.
Decline in sales of Bajaj Pulsar 400 and Honda H’ness 350
Bajaj Pulsar 400 sold 2,122 units in September, while in August this figure was 2,516 units. Due to this, Pulsar got an annual degrowth of 15.66% and its market share was 3.33%. At the same time, 2,048 units of Honda H’ness 350 were sold in September, due to which it got a growth of 23.9% and its market share was 2.19%.
Harley Davidson and Honda CB 350
Harley Davidson X440 sold 1,442 units in September, giving a growth of 62.94%. At the same time, 1,242 units of Honda CB 350 were sold in September, due to which it got a degrowth of 14.87% and its market share was 1.93%.
Bajaj Dominar 400 and KTM 390 status
Bajaj Dominar 400 sold 794 units in September, giving it a growth of 12.94%. At the same time, 695 units of KTM 390 were sold, due to which it got a degrowth of 2.25%.
Sales of other models
Aprilia RS 457 sold 267 units in September, giving it a degrowth of 35.66%. Hero Maverick sold 169 units in September and Husqvarna 401 sold 37 units. 5 units of Kawasaki Eliminator 400 were sold, due to which it got a degrowth of 16.67%.
