Symptoms of Diabetic Neuropathy: The amount of blood sugar increases in diabetes. In fact, when the insulin hormone released from the pancreas is less or not produced, glucose cannot be absorbed. These are signs of nerve damage
According to Mayo Clinic, there are four types of diabetic neuropathy in which more or less similar symptoms are seen. In case of diabetic neuropathy, the veins of hands and feet first start swelling. Its color may also turn black. Due to this, hands and legs start becoming numb again and again. If this happens for a long time, then the wall of the small blood vessels gradually starts weakening and one day when the pressure on it increases, it suddenly starts getting damaged or bursting at some places. Due to this, the blood vessels lose contact with other parts of the body. Due to this, it becomes difficult for oxygen and nutrients to reach there.
Symptoms are first seen in the veins of the arms and legs. Due to this, hands and feet start becoming numb. First of all there is numbness in the hand. Due to high blood sugar, the walls of small blood vessels start becoming weak. Therefore there is a fear of it leaking anywhere. Due to which it becomes difficult for oxygen and other nutrients to reach the organs.
Early signs of nerve damage
- 1. Weakness in muscles, numbness or pain, tingling or burning sensation in hands and legs.
- 2. Some people have extreme sensitivity to touch, even touching something causes pain.
- 3. Serious problems in the feet, such as ulcers, infections, boils, blisters, bone and joint fractures.
- 4. Stomach related problems start occurring in autoimmune neuropathy. There is difficulty in getting food. physical
- There may be problems in relationships also.
- 5. Weakness starts appearing in the eyes also. Two objects become visible.
- 6. Paralysis may also occur in some individuals.
