New Delhi. Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition SUVs in India. The starting price of Tata Nexon Dark Edition has been kept at Rs 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and the starting price of Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition has been kept at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tata Nexon Dark Edition has been made available in Creative and Fearless variants (Mid and Top). Let us tell you that customers will have to spend up to Rs 35,000 more for this Dark Edition as compared to regular models.
Talking about the special features of Tata Nexon Dark Edition, it has been provided with features like wireless charging pad, hidden capacitive touch panel for automatic climate control and black leather seats. Talking about the interior, this new edition has been given an all-black theme instead of the dual-tone interior of the standard Nexon. This model also has some ‘Dark’ badges all around the cabin.

The same changes mentioned above will also be seen in Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition. However, the top-spec is based on the Empowered+ trim. This model comes with a large 40.5kWh battery pack and a powerful 145bhp electric motor that generates 215Nm torque. Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition can be driven up to 465Km on a single charge.
Tata Motors has also launched dark editions of Harrier and Safari SUVs earlier. These models are available in the market since October last year. Tata Motors has not updated the prices. The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Harrier Dark Edition is Rs 19.99 lakh and the starting ex-showroom price of Tata Safari Dark Edition is Rs 20.69 lakh.
