Have you ever wanted to meet your dead loved ones again? Bae Suzy and Park Bo Gum’s upcoming science fiction outing offers a shocking twist on reality through the eponymously titled service, which allows people to reconnect with their departed loved ones. Director Kim Tae Yong, who previously helmed the camera for Tang Wei and Hyun Bin’s 2011 hit film Late Autumn, has taken charge of the creative process for the anticipated 2024 release. Shooting of the South Korean film Record of Youth was completed in 2020, before the actor’s nomination date. Its uncertain premiere window had irked fans a lot, which has now been remedied with the official reveal of when it will hit the big screens in Korea.
This much-hyped film has remained a topic of discussion for a long time. The Decision to Leave star Tang Wei, who plays a starring role in the upcoming Kim Tae Yong directorial debut, impressively teased Suzy and Park Bo Gum’s onscreen chemistry at the Blue Dragon Film Awards in November 2023. Handel Duo also suggests creating a possible musical duet. When the discussion about the film officially starts this year, all speculations will come to an end.
