Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has partnered with a top Indian e-commerce site Flipkart to allow customers to book online Suzuki motorcycles and scooters. Through this partnership, a more convenient and accessible shopping experience customers are enhanced to browse and buy two-wheelers Suzuki from their homes.

Models like Suzuki Avenis scooter, Gixxar series and V-Strom SX will now be available through Flipkart

From April 15, 2025, people from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Meghalaya, and Mizoram can book models of Suzuki Avenis Scooter, Gixaxar Range such as Gixxar 250, Gixxer SF 250 and The Gixxer SFXARS. Consumers can choose from available models, select versions of their interest, and booking on online platforms. On online booking, the nearest authorized Suzuki showroom will help complete the paperwork and distribution process.

Suzuki’s decision to partner with Flipkart is designed to align with changing consumer behavior, where convenience and digital platforms play an important role in purchase decisions. Deepak Mutreza, vice -president of sales and marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, said the company is responding to increasing preference for online purchase. The purpose of collaboration with Flipkart is to provide more accessible and efficient way for customers to join the Suzuki brand.

The partnership allows Suzuki to increase its online footprint, taking advantage of the online market expansion for auto products. Fast, using e-commerce to shop with more shopkeepers in small cities and cities, the initiative aims to complete the wider population. Flipkart senior director Suzith S. Agashe insisted that cooperation with Suzuki is part of Flipkart’s ongoing efforts to provide more convenience to customers in India. By offering a platform to book two-wheelers of Suzuki online, Flipkart aims to smooth the purchase process for digitally oriented consumers.

Suzuki Motorcycle India: Record sales for FY25

Suzuki Motorcycle India resumed two-wheelers during the last financial year with 12,56,161 (domestic exports) to its highest-annual annual versions in FY15. The company registered an increase of 11 percent from 11,33,902 units sold during FY2024.

Suzuki still dominates the 125 cc scooter segment with access, which remains the biggest sales generator of the brand. Interestingly, the sale of Japanese two-wheeler giants has doubled in the last four years.

FY2024 had Suzuki domestic sales 10,45,662 units, which was 14 percent from 921,009 units in the last financial year. It exported 210,499 units in the same quarter against 212,893 units in FY2024.
